I came across this series in the book; Honey For A Child's Heart, and I read the whole series.
The series was written in the 1960's. The author has a great flow to his words.

Ways to get involved in community

There are several ways you and your family can get involved in community events.

Did you know October is:

• National Dental Hygiene Month. Visit your dentist and give a basket of homemade goodies to the staff.
• Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are numerous events throughout most communities. Runs, walks, political events and more.
• National Arts and Humanities Month. Host a student, art display event through your co-op or church. Attend an art event through your local art guild.
• Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Take-up a collection of personal care products to donate to your local shelter.
